Today I read Ecclesiastes 3, in which there is a time for everything we experience but life has the same conclusion for everyone. Today I considered that no matter what season we are in, we will experience a different season if we live long enough.
A Time for Everything
Everything has its on season and/or timing in people’s lives (Ecclesiastes 3:1-22). Timing examples include a time to plant and a time to harvest, and a time to lose versus gather. We can look at the past to know what God requires and what can happen. God gifts us with the ability to enjoy the fruits of our labor, because life is vanity. People experience the same things as animals in that we breathe, die, and either go to heaven or hell.
Questions and Thoughts for Today
People face seasons and change in their lives from peaceful times to war, from mourning to dancing, and more. We should expect that there will be change in our lives. If we want to escape a hard season it is possible. If we are in a wonderful season, don’t expect to never experience hardship. Regardless of what we face we should thank God for the blessings in that season.
Have you thanked God for the blessings and/or lessons you received in your current season of life?
