Today I read 1 Chronicles 7, which talks about the families of Issachar, Benjamin, Naphtali, Ephraim, and Asher. They had mighty men, warriors, chiefs, and builders in their families. Today I considered that God blesses us with mighty men to fight our battles and women can build cities.
Mighty Men
God makes valiant, mighty men (1 Chronicles 7:1-12, and 30-40). Issachar’s, Benjamin’s, and Asher’s sons and descendants included strong, brave, passionate men. Some of their sons were chiefs and others were soldiers for war. God blesses us with warriors upon the earth that we should thank God for, and appreciate the warriors for serving in God’s purpose and battling for us.
Women Builders
God makes women builders (1 Chronicles 7:23-24). Ephraim’s granddaughter Sherah was over multiple locations. She built at least three cities: Lower Beth-horon, Upper Beth-horon and Uzzen-sheerah. Women can manage locations, including building cities.
