Today I read Joshua 11, in which the conquest of the north was led by Joshua and God gave the people of the north over into the hands of the people of Israel. Today I considered that God can gather your enemies in groups so you can conquer them quicker but not necessarily with ease.

North Armies Conquered Together

The gathered armies of the kings of the north were delivered into the hands of the children of Israel, and they made war to finish the cleanup (Joshua 11:1-23). King Jabin, king of Hazor, sent to many kings including in Madon, Shimron, Achshaph, the mountains, and the valleys to come together with their armies to fight against Israel. They gathered multitudes like the sand in number at the waters of Merom. God told Joshua to not be afraid and he was going to deliver them slain. Joshua and the Israel warriors fought against them suddenly, winning, and pursuing those that fled. Joshua was at war a long time, taking all the cities that fought them and killing their kings. The Lord hardened their hearts so no cities made peace with the children of Israel besides those of Gibeon. Joshua took the whole land like God had told Moses.

Questions and Thoughts for Today

Have you ever had sets of hard battles but knew you won each war at the end of those battles?
