Today I read Zechariah 5, which talks about the flying roll and the ephah of iniquity. The flying roll shall devour the thief and the liar. The ephah was taken to Shinar to build a house for it. Today I considered that God will handle the thieves and liars, and God can removed wickedness from areas.
The Thief and the Liar
God will destroy the thief and the liar (Zechariah 5:1-4). Zechariah saw a 30ft by 15ft flying roll that goes over all the earth into the house of the thief and the person lying related to God. The roll stays until it completely destroys the house. God takes thievery and lying and seriously, don’t worry because those that stole and lied will eventually be punished.
Wickedness Moved
God can remove the wickedness and establish it in another land (Zechariah 5:5-11). God contained the wickedness in an ephah with lead and had it transported to the land of Shinar or Babylon. A house with a base will be built in Babylon for the ephah of wickedness. God can remove wickedness from the place where God’s children are established.
