Today I read 1 Chronicles 26, which talks about the arrangements of the porters, treasurers, officers, and judges. Today I considered that sometimes we need more people and division of labor to make everything work smoothly.
Gatekeepers to Officers
The smooth working of the tabernacle of the Lord required everything from gatekeepers to officers. The sons of Kore and Merari were porters stationed at the north, south, east, and west gates of the tabernacle based on the lots cast. Shelomith and his family were over the all the treasuries containing the gifts from the king, officers, and others given to the Lord. Chenaniah and his sons, Hashabiah and his family, and Jerijah were officers, judges, and over public affairs. A large church or group following the example in the Bible requires more individuals over running the different sections for everything to work well.
