Today I read John 14, showing Jesus as the way to the Heavenly Father, and Jesus will send the Holy Spirit also called the Comforter or Holy Ghost to us while he is gone. Today I considered that the Holy Spirit does provide guidance and comfort.

Jesus Is The Way and Gifted the Holy Spirit

Believing in Jesus is the way to reach heaven, have your prayers heard by God, and receive the Holy Spirit (John 14:1-31). Jesus tells the disciples to not be upset when he leaves. Jesus was going to prepare a place for those that believe in him as the way to the Heavenly Father. Seeing Jesus is seeing the Heavenly Father because Jesus is in the Father. Believing in Jesus’ works, people can also do these works as long as they ask in Jesus’ name thus glorifying God. When he leaves, Jesus asked God to send us a Comforter to always stay with us. If we love Jesus, we’ll keep his commandments and God will see. The Holy Ghost will teach us, help us remember things, and Jesus also leaves us peace. Jesus told them beforehand and that Jesus loves God so is following God’s commandment.

Questions and Thoughts for Today

The Holy Spirit provides teaching, remembrance, and peace. People everywhere have said that they wanted to know about a situation or how to fix an illness or other things and after praying knew all they needed to know. There are examples of people all over the world who continued to take tests and did not pass until they prayed before taking the test. There are people who go through disasters and emergencies that receive immediate peace to handle the situation after they pray.

When is a time you prayed and received knowledge, reminders or peace?
