Today I read Proverbs 8, which calls for wisdom and explains its value. Today I considered that wisdom is precious, valuable, gives you strength, and even helps people as leaders.
Wisdom More Valuable Than Riches
Receiving wisdom and knowledge is more valuable than money (Proverbs 8:1-12 & 19-18). Wisdom can come from different locations from those guarding the gate to those in high places. Wisdom can be easy for those with knowledge to understand. We should try to receive knowledge because it is more valuable than silver, gold and rubies. We can use wisdom to create inventions and create revenue streams.
Wisdom Makes Leaders
People become leaders and obtain blessing by using wisdom (Proverbs 8:14-36). Wisdom is necessary to counsel someone and is used to put people in leadership positions. Using wisdom helps people gain strength including being able to reign. Those continuously seeking wisdom are blessed. We should gain more knowledge and wisdom if we want to be in a leadership position.
Questions and Thoughts for Today
Are you doing anything at least monthly to increase your wisdom, knowledge and understanding?
I found this quote interesting because it defines the fear of the Lord, which is a phrase I hear so often. Proverbs 8:13 KJV “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate.”
