Today I read Ezra 7 & 8, where God touches the king’s heart allowing Ezra and others to return to Jerusalem with treasures for God and serve the Lord.

Today I read Ezra 5 & 6, in which Zerubbabel and others begin to build God’s temple again and their enemies had to help provide resources to them after king Darius’s search of the old records and reply.

Today I read Ezra 3 & 4, in which the altar and foundation were built for Jerusalem but the enemies frustrated their efforts to finish building.

Today I read Ezra 1 & 2, where king Cyrus of Persia proclaimed God wanted Cyrus to build a house in Jerusalem for God and he had Israelites return to Jerusalem.

Today I read Ecclesiastes 12, explaining that the most important duty during life is to fear God and keep His commandments.

Today I read Ecclesiastes 11, where God says to invest in many ventures and to remember God in our actions while we are young.
