Today I read Genesis 4 which to the best of my knowledge had the first recorded murder, first known true diversity in job opportunities, and showed men beginning to calling upon the name of the Lord.

Today I read Genesis 3 about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The story about this tree is one I have heard many times over the years. Today I considered the long-term consequences to the serpent, the woman, and the man.

Today I read Genesis 2 which mentions the seventh day and Adam and Eve. After reading this chapter I thought about our need for rest, there is life in every breath we take, and woman’s formation from the rib.

The first book I decided to read was Genesis. Genesis 1 includes the purpose of lights, mankind’s purpose, being blessed, and given instructions.

Beginning today I am sharing with you my journey through the Bible. I am beginning by outlining and singing songs of the Bible books.
