Today I read Proverbs 21:20, talking about storing food and oil. Today I considered I prefer having food, candles, and lanterns to being hungry and sitting in the dark.

Questions and Thoughts for Today

When a disaster or crisis happens, I do not want to be left sitting in the dark with a hungry stomach. I prefer the wise path of storing food and having energy sources. This means storing enough candles or lanterns along with with lighters, matches, or batteries. This also means having shelf-stable food to eat that does not spoil when not in the refrigerator.
